Board of Studies
A meeting of Board of Studies in Comparative Religions was held at Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research, New Delhi.
Dean(Academics) Professor Mohammed Ishaque presided over the meeting. Professor Haseeb Ahmed, Director, shed light upon the goals of the institute, outlined course- objectives and desirable outcomes of the study of religions. Dr. Ahmed Sohaib Assistant Professor from Centre for Comaparative Religions and Civilizations , Jamia Millia Islamia, Mr Junaid Haris, Assistant Professor in Islamic Studies, JMI and Mr Mukarram Jahan, Research Scholar at JMI participated in the deliberations and gave their valuable inputs. Mr Anis Nadvi and Dr Khan Yasir faculty members at IIISR also participated in the discussion. The existing syllabi were revised and fine tuned.
