Certificate Course in Research Methodology Inaugurated at Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research

The Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research inaugurated a three-week certificate course (1-18 December 2025) in Research Methodology
In his inaugural address, the Director of the Institute, Professor Dr. Haseeb Ahmed, emphasized the importance of conducting research with proper methodology and tools. He noted that enquiry, research, and discovery are essential steps for development, and highlighted that a researcher must uphold ethics, honesty, truthfulness, and accuracy in their work.
The event was graced by Professor Shahid Jamal, former Director at the Centre for West Asian Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), New Delhi, who attended as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Ateeq ur Rahman, guest faculty at JMI, will serve as the Chief Resource Person for the course.
Anis ur Rahman Nadwi, senior faculty at the Institute, introduced the distinguished guests and also addressed the gathering. The participants expressed keen interest and enthusiasm towards the course, reflecting its relevance and importance.
The occasion was also attended by Dr. Khan Yasir and Haris Nadwi, adding to the academic spirit of the inauguration.
