Board of Studies

A meeting of Board of Studies in Social Sciences was held at Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research, New Delhi on 9th August 2025.

Dean(Academics) Professor Mohammed Ishaque presided over the meeting. Professor Haseeb Ahmed, Director, shed light upon the goals of the institute, outlined course- objectives and desirable outcomes of the study of religions. Dr. Anis ur Rahman Professor from Centre for West Asian Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, Dr. Javed Alam, Rtd. Professor in History participated in the deliberations and gave their valuable inputs. Mr Anis Nadvi and Dr Khan Yasir faculty members at IIISR, Dr.Serajuddin Falahi honorary visiting Faculty in Economics, Mr Shaikh Rahil, Mr Moizul Haq, Research Scholars at IIISR also participated in the discussion. Decisions to revise the existing syllabi were taken.
