Inauguration of IIISR Coaching Classes for UGC-NET/SET Examination Dec 2023

On October 10, 2023 inaugural class of UGC-NTA NET JRF coaching was held at Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research. At 7:15 PM Dr. Khan Yasir (Director In-Charge, IIISR) delivered a brief welcome address. He asserted that the aim of IIISR is to facilitate students to Islamise knowledge as well as to create knowledge in the light of divine guidance. It is essential that students who are nurtured here are guided to compete for NET-JRF and choose a path of academics and research for their future. And hence, over the years, an effort has been made to facilitate students for this competition with great success. Now the scope of that informal guidance is being widened and systematised with this initiative.

Mr. Aaean Siddiqui Sir introduced ten units of NET-JRF syllabus and argued that its actually a test of apt-attitude for which students need to prepare accordingly. Professor Haseebur Rahman Sir focused on comprehension and communication units and cleared some basic concepts. Mr.Tahseen Siddiqui Sir dealt with mathematical reasoning and data interpretation and emphasised upon making the maths a friend and not a foe. He seasoned his talk with some cool math tricks that made the whole talk fun.

Afterwards, students interacted with the faculties. Dr. Khan Yasir concluded the session after describing the schedule of the classes and thanking the students and faculties.
