Academic Interaction

An enriching academic interaction took place at the Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research (IIISR), New Delhi, on 3rd November 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Afzal Hussain Auditorium. The event featured two distinguished academicians who engaged with students in an inspiring and motivational session.
Dr. Waseem Nasr, a postgraduate from the International Islamic University Malaysia and PhD holder from Germany, formerly a Post-doctoral Fellow at CSR India, shared the compelling journey of his academic pursuits. His story resonated deeply with students, highlighting the value of perseverance and intellectual curiosity.
Dr. Tauseef Ahmed Parray, Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies at the Higher Education Department, Jammu & Kashmir, delivered a motivational talk. He encouraged students to commit to hard work and expand their intellectual horizons through voracious reading and continuous learning.
Professor Haseeb Ahmed, Director of IIISR, emphasized in his concluding remarks that “there is no shortcut to success,” urging students to seize every opportunity and remain steadfast in their pursuit of knowledge.
Dr. Rizwan, Director of CSR India, graced the occasion with his presence. Anis Ur Rahman Nadvi, Senior Faculty at IIISR, also attended the event. The event commenced with a recitation of the Quran by Shahnwaz Akram. Mohd Saqib delivered the vote of thanks while Aman Khan compered the proceedings. Shaikh Rahil, a research trainee, served as the programme in-charge.
