Mr Amanatullah Khan expressed his happiness to visit the institute. Addressing the students and the staff, he said “I feel that there is a lack of good journalists and lawyers in the Muslim community. Muslims should come forward in these fields and better serve the community. Similarly, there is a need to open high standard schools at the primary level. Serving the cause of education at every level is essential. And this can be done by learned people seated in front of me. I am glad that there is such an institution of higher learning and research in my constituency”, he added. He noted the significance of the weekly course for Quranic Arabic for Delhi and NCR people in which separate batches of boys and girls are taught the language and teachings of Quran in weekly classes. Students of the course include busy professionals and homemakers. “I sincerely wish that you would launch more courses for women”, he requested, and added, “I pray to Allah to make this institution grow. If there is any need for cooperation in this regard, I am ready to help in any way I can.”
Mr. Mohammad Ahmad, secretary Jamaat e Islami Hind and Mr. Anisur Rahman, Director In-Charge (IIISR) were present on the occasion.
