Islami Academy Trust was established in 2005. Since beginning it has facilitated hundreds of talented students, from both College and Madrasa background across India, for higher studies in Islamic sciences. Improving the standards and prospects of higher education with in the Muslim community and facilitating research in Islamic studies in the context of Indian society, religions, cultures, traditions and history have been twofold objectives of the academy. In order to concentrate efforts on the front of higher education, the Trust has launched Indian Institute of Islamic Studies and Research (IIISR) in 2016. This academic year, we are offering following residential study programmes:

1) PG Diploma in Islamic Thought and Studies;

2) Advanced Diploma in Comparative Religions and Civilisation;

The eligibility-criteria for the courses are Graduation, Alimiyat, and Higher Secondary respectively. For admission in our residential study programmes, a nationwide entrance test is conducted with examination centres across the nation. Shortlisted candidates are called for interview at the campus of IIISR in Delhi. Admission is finalised on the basis of merit (as determined by the performance in the entrance test and the interviews). Selected students are offered full fellowship that covers their expenses of food and lodging. In our residential study programmes, the emphasis is on overall personality development of students. In-Campus residence facilitates a creative, energetic and academic environment even outside the classroom. Students maintain a rigorous schedule of classes, self-study, assignments and extra curricular activities throughout their stay at the IIISR. Students are also given stipend asper the terms and conditions of the Trust. Besides the abovementioned residential programmes, IIISR also runs several non-residential academic programmes to enhance the pool of its beneficiaries. From March 2017, it has started two batches (separate for boys and girls) of weekly One-Year Certificate Course in Quranic Language and Teachings for homemakers and working professionals. In the last academic session a Department of Distance and Online Learning at IIISR has been founded.
