Every nation in this world lives and dies for itself

“Every nation in this world lives and dies for itself. But contrary to this, the Muslim Ummah does it for the sake of whole humanity and it is one of the unique traits of Islam. Dawah(Calling towards Islam) is the real ‘truth’. The characteristic of truth is that, it should be a fact, not an illusion. It should be absolute, not partial. It should be in consonance with human nature, not in dissonance. The matter of fact is that the ‘truth’ is like a flower, not a thorn. And it is our duty to confer this truth in a decent and beautiful way. For this, the concerned person needs to be intelligent and skilful”.

These are the thoughts, that were shared by the prominent islamic scholar, mufassir-e-Quran Maulana Mohammad Farooq Khan Sb with the students of IIISR, New Delhi, while talking on the topic of ‘Unique traits of Muslim Ummah’.

He further said that the secret of life and prosperity of Muslim Ummah is when it benefits the whole humanity. Because it is the law of nature that life and prosperity is in being Openhanded and benevolent to others. While stressing on moral etiquettes and principles, Maulana said that a ‘Daie’ should be well mannered and highly disciplined. He continued his talk in an emotional tone and said that prove with your acts and character that you are worthy of Firdous (Highest place in jannah).

At the end of his talk he said that reading the Quran is not enough, to attain guidance and nourishment from Quran, we should reflect and ponder over the verses of Quran.
